Gérard Bertrand La Forge 2009
Corbières, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceLiquorice, beef Oxo-cube, blackberry, prune plum, chocolate, violet, candied orange, cedar and tobacco aromas. Rich, round, warm, suave and juicy palate with very fine tannins. The flavours mix chocolate, cedar and cigar with meaty, savoury, black raspberry, blackberry jam and orange peel flavours. Very warm and unctuous but balanced in the finish. Drinkable now but should improve over the next 2-4 years.Tasted: 29 November 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $90.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Pacific Wine & Spirits |
