Gérard Bertrand Aigle Royal Pinot Noir 2011

Limoux, Languedoc, Sud de France, FranceSurprise surprise. Spicy, strawberry, light barnyard, tobacco, peppery, plum, vanilla, gamey sauvage aromas. Ripe, fresh, juicy and concentrated palate with good finesse. Wild plum, cherry, spicy, peppery, coffee, tobacco and game flavours. There is fine length and fruit here and it should age well for 3-7 years. Pinot noir reminiscent of a solid Pommard and or Volnay 1er Cru.Tasted: 29 November 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
