Goats do Roam (Red) 2012
South AfricaGoats do Roam the clever play on southern French region open with a smoky, meaty, leather nose with bits of red fruits, compost and crushed coffee bean. The attack is lighter than you might expect almost elegant. The blend is a 63 percent shiraz mix with cinsault, mourvèdre, grenache, durif and carignan all grown over decomposed granite soils. Again light to medium body making it more palatable with soft juicy berry flavours. Best with grilled meats off the barbecue. Somewhat reduced under screwcap but this will blow off with ten minutes of air.Tasted: 16 November 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $15.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
