Zenato Lugana San Benedetto 2011
Verona, Veneto, ItalyIt is hard to believe the trebbiano grape could be so delicious which likely explains why this wine isn't listed in BC government wine stores. The 100 percent trebbiano di Lugana is made form from the oldest vines of in the Podere Massoni vineyard and it's delicious. This is Zenato's flagship white and you should rush out and buy some. Expect a ripe, complex floral white wine with fresh juicy, apricot and pear flavours. Long persistent and tasty. It over delivers for its price. Grilled fish would be a fine match.Tasted: 22 September 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:AB | $19.00 | 750ml | private wine shops |
