Sette Ponti Crognolo 2010

Tuscany, ItalyClay, sand and stony galestro limestone are the foundation of this 90/5/5/ sangiovese, cabernet sauvignon, merlot that spends 10-14 months in French Allier barriques then 5-6 months in bottle. Another brilliant edition of a mini super-Tuscan blend that offers up an intoxicating scent of tobacco, liquorice and red fruits with a considerable savoury spicy underbelly. Richness and freshness...it would be a fabulous match with pork or lamb.Tasted: 28 September 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
