The Holy Trinity Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre 2010

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaThe Holy Trinity is shaped by the French GSM model of grenache, shiraz and mourvèdre. The fruit is 100 percent Barossa handpicked from 50-120 year old, dry-farmed vines. The 2010 is a 38/36/26/grenache, shiraz, mourvèdre blend and its kick ass. A combination of seasoned larger format wood is used with French oak puncheons. Fresh open raspberries/black cherries cedar scents with flecks of liquorice. The mid-palate is equally robust with blueberries, plums and spice. All wrapped up in a round, dense. soft package with just the right amount of acidity. A perfect wine for grilled or roasted lamb or game birds.Tasted: 07 August 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
