M. Chapoutier Crozes-Hermitage Les Meysonniers Rouge 2011
Crozes Hermitage, Northern Rhone, Rhone Valley, FranceOpen floral, white pepper attractive meaty syrah nose with poultry spice, garrigue and smoky leather aromas. Dry, light, elegant palate with coffee, meaty, peppery, savoury, roasted pepper and herb flavours with a black cherry finish. Very aromatic and syrah but it lacks some depth and concentration on the palate at this point. We suggest you cellar this for two to three years and let it put on some bottle weight and maturity.Tasted: 24 August 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
