Moon Curser Contraband Syrah 2011

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaContraband is a single vineyard syrah grown on the warm Bartsch Vineyard along the Osoyoos East Bench. It's fermented in 225 litre barriques (30% new French barrels). In 2011 you can see the cool vintage impact, the style is fresh and acidic with peppery black fruit flavours flecked with liquorice and smoked meat notes. Not a lot here and mostly ready to drink.
