Spierhead Pinot Gris 2012
East Kelowna Slopes, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSpierhead has made near faultless wine since it opened and its first pinot gris is yet another good example of well-made wine. The nose is fresh and clean with ripe, red apple aromas and citrus throughout. The attack is ripe almost sweet but with plenty of firm underlying acidity that cleans up the finish. Simple but effective and very food friendly. Well done and affordable.Tasted: 18 May 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml |
