Quails' Gate Pinot Noir Clone 828 2010

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA single clone bottling experiment with a unique celery, barnyard, compost, meaty nose mixed with smoke and rhubarb aromas. Dry, thin, leaner, elegant styling with bright acidity. The attack is on the earthy side with barnyard, carrot, celery, tart cassis and raspberry flavours. Seems more like a blending clone to add some structure in a warm year. Best with duck.Tasted: 20 April 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
