Hillside Syrah 2009

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaYou will love the attractive open blackberry, meaty, peppery, smoky nose flecked dried herbs and chocolate highlights. The style is fresh and dry with light elegant tannins. On the palate more smoky, dried herbs, licorice and black cherry, floral fruit spiked with poultry spice and sage persists. There are still a few light, youthful tannins to dissipate but it's well balanced and should age well for 2-4 years. Solid value. Fine effort. Well done.Tasted: 26 April 2013Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
