Township 7 Cabernet Sauvignon 2009
Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThere is nothing easy about growing cabernet sauvignon in the Okanagan but in this case this 2009 Oliver-based vineyard delivered. Savoury black fruit with hints of sagebrush, coffee and ripe black olives bits of chocolate preview some youthful, blocky tannin that will need a couple more years in bottle to dissipate. Warm and rich you can decant and serve this now with big meat dishes to best effect or cellar through 2018.Tasted: 20 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $26.00 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA and private wine shops |
