Domaine Faiveley Mercurey La Framboisiere 2010
Mercurey, Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, FranceErwan Faiveley describes the 2010 vintage as one of "classic, concentration with restraint and depth. A serious vintage in Burgundy." The La Framboisière site has a lot of limestone and you feel the elegance in the structure. Look for smoky spicy raspberry, floral aromas while the palate is sweeter rounder a mix of sweet and sour cherries, tea and a hint of vanilla. Delicate, round, elegant and light in the finish.Tasted: 19 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $38.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Trialto |
