Domaine Faiveley Mercurey La Framboisiere 2009
Mercurey, Côte Chalonnaise, Burgundy, FranceErwan Faiveley cites poor limestone soils as the secret to La Framboisière elegance. In 2009 the wine is fleshier with a more defined length. It opens with inviting smoky spicy raspberry, floral notes while the palate is a sweeter deeper darker fruit flavoured affair reflecting this fine vintage. There just enough flesh to make this a special bottle of Mercurey. Should be perfect with a grilled chicken dinner.Tasted: 19 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $38.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Trialto |
