A Mano Primitivo 2009

Castellaneta, Taranto, Puglia, ItalyAmerican winemaker Mark Shannon and his Italian wife Elvezia continue their noble quest to make the best inexpensive red wine in the world. The latest A Mano, (by hand) has a lovely floral raspberry character that helps dissipate some of the dry, rustic tannins and warmth in the back end. A solid mid-week red that would work with a variety of grilled meats and chicken or with your favourite pizza. Tasted: 20 January 2013Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
