Alamos Malbec 2011

Mendoza, ArgentinaA blend of fruit from across Mendoza, Alamos spends about nine months in 50/50 French and American oak. This very commercial stuff with a soft, round warm spicy front end followed by a dollop of sweet fruit. It seems more Australian these days than Argentine. A soft, fleshy, simple malbec with a twist of acidity in the finish. Try it with hamburgers.Tasted: 24 December 2012Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
