Lake Breeze Seven Poplars Pinotage 2009
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSimilar to last year's excellent effort the '09 has a peppery, floral, black raspberry nose flecked with spice, tobacco leaf and meaty/Oxo aromas. The attack is fresh and dry with youthful tannins on the palate with smoky, coffee, black raspberry jam, liquorice, vanilla, peppery, roasted meat and pepper flavours. Good intensity and fruit but needs another year more in bottle to excel. Try now with roast lamb.Tasted: 18 November 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $30.00 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA wine shops |
