Lake Breeze Seven Poplars Pinotage 2004
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis the best version of pinotage we have seen from winemaker Garron Elmes yet and better, dare I say, then most of the labels we see from South Africa in this market. Look for a soft meaty spicy red with bits of vanilla, clove, cherry, notes and streaks of earth and licorice. Impressive in the mouth, long and spicy with more fruit, mocha, spicy vanilla, smoky gamy white pepper flavours.
