Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe third release of the 2bench rosé actually comes off one bench; it is 100 per cent cabernet franc from Diamondback Vineyard, Black Sage Bench on the east side of the valley. The winery only release has a very pleasing pale orange/pink colour and a fresh fruity nose. A cooler than normal 2011 resulted in some early planning to make more cabernet franc. Look for a fun mix of cherry fruit, dried herbs and a kiss of sweet fruit.
