Black Hills Carmenère 2010
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFinally this wine has found its roots on the Black Sage Bench. And if an equal mix of new oak, one year old and two year old doesn't impress you fruit fans then maybe its 12.2 alcohol will grab your attention. Expect a typically peppery/leafy nose followed by a juicy fresh red fruit palate with supple tannins. A cool style, no chocolate version of carmenère that is carving out a home in BC. Best yet.Tasted: 17 October 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $50.00 | 750ml | winery direct and private wine shops |
