Joseph Drouhin Beaune Clos des Mouches Blanc 1er Cru 2009
Beaune, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceToasted vanilla, spicy, floral nose with honey, butter, green apple, clove and lemon aromas. The attack is dry and fresh with fine richness and elegance all with juicy acidity. Buttery, nutty, honey, spicy, clove, lemon rind, green apple baked pear and lanolin flavours. Good finesse with lots of buttery, nutty notes on the finish. Fine effort but could use another 12 to 36 months to reach perfection. Halibut anyone.Tasted: 08 September 2012Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $135.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Pacific Wine and Spirits |
