Hillside Pinot Noir 2010
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe 2010 is the first pinot noir at Hillside that is grown on Naramata bench and guess what, it has real pinot character. The team at Hillside under winemaker Kathy Malone is really pulling hard to develop its own identity after all these years and this wine is an excellent start. Expect a pretty strawberry/raspberry nose with a thread of dried herbs and earth. The attack is soft and juicy the palate just the right weight and acidity to set up the soft easy drinking finish. Grilled piazza or tapas would be a good match along with salmon anything.Tasted: 09 May 2012Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $25.00 | 750ml | winery direct, VQA wine stores |
