Mendocino County, California, United StatesMcNab Ranch in Mendocino County boats some 378 acres of organic vineyard and is home to most of the zinfandel. The blend mixes 8 per cent petite syrah and 4 percent cabernet sauvignon. It's mostly dry farmed vineyards low yielding vines with no artificial irrigation. The wine spends 8 months in previously used oak barrels and is certified organic on the vineyard and the bottle. Expect a clean, fresh, pure zinfandel with red fruit flavours and spice.
