Black Hills Carmenere 2009
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaBlack olive, black pepper, tobacco leaf, dill, smoked tomato, coffee, herb aromas. Dry, light, elegant but lean with light tannins. Coffee, cedar, smoky, dill, tomato leaf, sour cherry, peppery flavours. Tart, dry finish. A simple curiosity at this point that doesn't support its price. It really needs some fruit and ripeness if it is going to move ahead.Tasted: 29 December 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $50.00 | 750ml | winery direct and private wine shops |
