Black Hills Carmenere 2008
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaDill pickle, green olive, tobacco leaf, riparian and chocolate aromas. Round, dry, soft palate with dill pickle, herbal, smoked tomato, olive and coffee aromas. Not much happening here and at a hefty $50 a bottle. Who is zooming who? Totally reliant on oak to cover up a lack of ripeness and concentration. Disappointing, given earlier examples.Tasted: 29 August 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $50.00 | 750ml | winery direct and private wine shops |
