Willamette Valley, Oregon, United StatesOpen spicy, thyme, carrot top, strawberry jam nose with floral, smoky, vanilla, leather and cherry aromas with a touch of tobacco compost. Dry, fresh, elegant, juicy palate but round and full with light tannins. Cherry, strawberry jam, orange, vanilla, smoky, tobacco, gamey, tea flavours. Good concentration and intensity, will age well for 3-7 years. A big improvement over the 2007. Has more fruit and concentration than the regular cuvée.
