Errazuriz Max Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Valle del Curicó, Region del Valle Central, ChileThe grapes for the Max Reserva Sauvignon Blanc 2010 were sourced 75 percent from the Manzanar Vineyard in Aconcagua Costa, located just 12 km from the Pacific Ocean and 25 percent from Casablanca Valley. Only two percent of the grapes were fermented in barrels but all the wine is aged on its lees. A pale greenish-yellow colour, this wine has great aromatic expression full of dried herbs, lemon and passion fruit aromas and flavours. There is a small bit of barrel-fermented fruit added to the mix to flesh out the body and add a creamy character to the finish.Tasted: 12 October 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $18.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Philippe Dandurand |
