Paso Robles, San Luis Obispo County, Central Coast, California, United StatesIt's been awhile since we last encountered this wine but the result is similar. The style is super rich and spicy with a savoury, bacon fat, Christmas cake nose with bits of vanilla and smoky roasted meats. The palate is full -bodied and spicy with warm rich, sweet black cherry fruti with liquorice, coffee, and vanilla flavours. The finish is long and warm. Not made for the feint of heart.
