Rutherford, Napa Valley, California, United StatesThis 100 per cent cabernet sauvignon is aged in large American oak puncheons which seem to contribute to its aromatic nose of cedar black berry jam and pepper flecked with earthy balsamic notes. The entry is soft with fine grained tannins offering smoky red cherries, vanilla, cassis, cedar/ tobacco with a hint of chocolate. The fruit is farmed organically on the Cohn and Chateau vineyards of the Rubicon Estate. Should age gracefully through 2016.
