Yecla, Valencia and Murcia, SpainVery peppery, smoky, meaty, black cherry jam, savoury, cassis, black olive, coffee, tobacco aromas. Ripe, rich, smooth, fresh palate with smooth grained tannins. Cassis, black cherry, coffee, meaty, vanilla, liquorice root, savoury, tobacco, olive, gamey flavours. Good structure and intensity but needs time to tame the tannins. Good value. The new 2007 is $25.
