CedarCreek Merlot 2007
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis wine has improved in bottle since last April as we suspected it might. A little less coffee and chocolate from the oak has revealed more black cherry, tobacco, sausage meat and black olive aromas. The entry is still linear but with a bit more fruit and dry earthy, cedar, tobacco, sour cherry, coffee and pepper flavours. The finish is dry but softening up, especially with food. It was perfect with steak.Tasted: 25 January 2011Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $20.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
