Casillero del Diablo Sauvignon Blanc 2009
Region del Valle Central, ChileAnother super clean fresh bottle from Casillero that this year leans a bit more toward the grassy, nettle side. The fruit comes off several cool Central valley sites and is fermented and aged on its lees in stainless steel tanks. The palate is stark with bright lemon grassy gooseberry flavours and flecks of citrus and grass. It finishes clean with a touch of minerality but more grass than fruit this year. Oysters are the answer here.Tasted: 06 December 2010Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:BC | $13.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
