Carneros, Napa Valley, California, United StatesThe Carneros based chardonnay is mostly Stanly Ranch Estate with contributions from Hyde Vineyard, Silverado-Stanly Ranch that spends eight months in 42 per cent new French oak on its lees. The result is a creamy textured white with a pronounced lees character on the nose and added complexity throughout. The style is rich and inviting offering nutty tropical fruit flavours with bright acidity and bits of toasted oak in the finish.
