Chateau Leoville Las Cases 2007

St. Julien, Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, FranceGood colour. Cassis, tobacco, earthy, barnyard, floral, peppery, savoury, olive, light vanilla aromas. Dry, tight, slightly lean but good acidity and finesse with youthful, elegant but noticeable tannins. Earthy, coffee, tobacco leaf, olive, cassis, peppery, herbal, green bean, vanilla, mineral flavours. Finish is dry and bit hard and muscular with some oak. This has potential and shows the class for the vintage and commune. Keep 3-10 years.Tasted: 17 November 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
