Chateau Lascombes 2007

Margaux, Haut-Médoc, Médoc, Bordeaux, FranceTypical young vanilla, coffee, cherry, cassis nose with leather, chocolate, barnyard, roasted meat and floral aromas. Round, dry, tight, and elegant with leaner but balanced tannins and acidity. Cassis, cherry, cardamom, coffee, chocolate, tea, olive, vanilla, dill, leather and savoury meat flavours. A bit tight and acidic on the finish but has good fruit and finesse. Definitely a more modern style with more oak and reminiscent, a bit, of syrah. Needs two to four more years bottle time. Serve with roast beef.Tasted: 17 November 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
