Joseph Drouhin Laforet Bourgogne Pinot Noir 2007
Burgundy, FranceLight red colour with a quiet nose of red currants and cranberrie, sour cherries and spice. The plate is fresh with pronounced acidity and cedar notes with more red fruit and spice. Light almost non-descript entry-level Burgundy. I served this with grilled salmon where the fat and oil was a perfect foil to the acidity and dryness of this pinot.Tasted: 02 October 2010Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $22.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
