Inniskillin Vidal Icewine Commemorative Edition 2006

Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaFrom the cellar. Now ten years on, this is a deep burnished gold, with dark honey, caramelized nuts, golden raisins, ash, fine peppery / ginger spicing on a thick, unctuous palate. Creme brûlée and vanilla linger on the spicy finish. This still has persistent and driving fine acidity to carry to the end, one that almost crunches with honeycomb.
