Sonoma County, California, United StatesThe St. Jean pinot is based on bright Carneros fruit supported by 15 per cent Russian River Valley pinot. It's all hand-picked and cold soaked prior to ferment. It is aged nine months in barrel before the best is reassembled, blended and bottled unfined. Look for sweet raspberry fruit on entry and drier dark cherry flavours mixed with smoke spice and vanilla over velvety textures.
