Chateau St. Jean Pinot Noir 2002
Sonoma County, California, United StatesA mix of Russian River and Carneros fruit offers up a smoky, black cherry, rootsy, barnyard, spicy nose spiked with celery seed aromas with a licorice orange peel highlight. Rich, round, soft and full with velvety textures and a touch of warmth. Ripe cherry jam, smoky vanilla, celery salt, spicy, rootsy forest floor flavours. Very well balanced, rich style with a warm finish. Good value and real pinot.Tasted: 30 January 2005Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $29.99 | 750ml | Specialty |
