Sperling Vineyards Pinot Gris 2008
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWinemaker Anne Sperling describes here restrained pinot gris style as pears and stones. The fruit comes off two very different benches on the home property in Kelowna's Mission District. It's essentially bone dry on the palate, light and fragrant all aged in old barrels for no wood influence. Lees stirring gives it a pleasing texture and protects tis dry citrus flavours. Less fruit more site expression is the goal. Food friendly.Tasted: 18 December 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $19.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Liquid Art |
