Pedestal Merlot 2006
Columbia Valley, Washington, United StatesThe latest Michel Rolland merlot form Washington's Columbia Valley is typically spicy with cedar, tobacco, black cherry, dried herb, black olive, liquorice root aromas. The entry is rich and warm the tannins supple and fine-grained. On the palate there is plenty of vanilla, spicy, peppery, cedar, cigar, coffee, black cherry jam, mint, black olive and orange peel flavours a la Rolland. Big, rich, ripe, suave style for the more hedonistic drinker and it will improve over the next five years.Tasted: 30 November 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $80.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Mark Anthony Brands |
