Napa Valley, California, United StatesBig spicy, tobacco, cedar, cigar, blackberry, prune nose with flecks of clove, coffee and vanilla. The attack is rich and full, the palate suave with smooth fine-grained tannins. Good acidity with cassis, smoky, coffee, vanilla, blackberry jam, cigar, ash, peppery, clove, chocolate, liquorice flavours. Warm but suave with good fruit and length with a touch of olive and dried herbs on the finish. Good now but will improve for 2-5 years.
