Tenuta Luce La Vite Lucente 2006

Tuscany, ItalyAfter Luce there is Lucente, made by the same winemaker Lamberto Frescobaldi. His proximity to Luce allows for some of the sangiovese and merlot to be mixed with cabernet sauvignon. Look for a peppery, smoky, clove, vanilla nose with black cherry, meaty, liquorice, savoury, gamey aromas and flavours. The '06 is both ripe and supple with good concentration and finesse.
