Garda, Verona, Veneto, ItalyThis is a delicious bottle of northern Italian merlot from a very fine vintage. Lovely soft almost sweet fruit with bits of spice and brambleberry with a whack of smoked peppery cherry fruit in the finish. Soft round full flavoured and impressive one to look for on restaurant lists.
