Herder Merlot 2007
British Columbia, CanadaPeppery, tobacco leaf, cherry, cranberry, floral, dried herb, coffee, savoury nose. Dry, tight, round, elegant, warm, fresh palate with herbal, cherry, coffee, peppery, cedar, black olive, rhubarb, crushed herb flavours. A bit young with some light, tight tannins to shed but balanced and elegant. Promising, especially if we can get the fruit quotient up.Tasted: 20 October 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $35.00 | 750ml | winery direct |
