Domaine Faiveley Corton Charlemagne Grand Cru 2007
Aloxe-Corton, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceBig spicy, citrus, dry rock, nutty, lemon, toasty lees, melon, lanolin, baked green apple, smoky aromas. Dry, round, tight palate with lots of minerality and acidity. Toasty, nutty, green apple, peach pit, pear, butter, mineral, juicy flavours. Very linear, structured and tight at this point, needs 5 years to put on some roundness. Very fine but needs time.Tasted: 28 October 2009Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $269.00 | 750ml | speculative listing - Winspeer |
