Joseph Drouhin Beaune Premier Cru 2001
Beaune, Côte de Beaune, Côte d'Or, Burgundy, FranceBig barnyard, meaty, peppery, tobacco leaf, mineral, shoe leather aromas. Dry, lean, somewhat tight palate with light, cedar-y tannins. Smoky, Band-Aid, Bretty, meaty flavours. Very old, dirty style that given our recent tastings of the latest Drouhin labels has nothing to do with the future.
