Herder Josephine 2007

Similkameen Valley, British Columbia, CanadaMeaty, peppery, tobacco leaf, green olive, herbal, smoky, resin, sweaty saddle, savoury, light tomato leaf aromas. Dry, tight, fresh palate with gritty, cedar-y tannins. Big smoky oak, vanilla, resin, chocolate, espresso, sappy cassis, herbal, tobacco leaf, roasted tomato, cranberry, cedar, rooty flavours. Warm, tart, dry finish with green, stewed tea tannins and flavours. Needs time but will always be a bit too herby.
