Rolf Binder Heysen Shiraz 2006
Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaAn even better version of the '05. Very spicy, floral, peppery, black cherry, licorice, tobacco, cedar, orange peel, savoury, rooty, raisin and vanilla nose. Ripe, round, rich with fine black cherry, plum jam, flavours flecked with orange, vanilla, spicy, savoury, tobacco and licorice with a kirsch and coffee finish. Again it is warm on the palate but excellent fruit and finesse.Tasted: 21 November 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:BC | $55.00 | 750ml | specialty listing |
