Rolf Binder Heysen Shiraz 2005

Barossa Valley, South Australia, AustraliaImpressive nose of black plums, mocha, pepper, smoky licorice, coffee, tobacco, leather and coriander. By now we see the trademark elegant and supple entry with just a splash acidity and fine textures. Savoury, spicy, vanilla, coffee, orange peel, black cherry, plum, flavours dominate the palate. It's warm and tart at the edge but with great fruit and intensity. Well done.Tasted: 21 November 2008Tasted by: Anthony Gismondi and Stuart TobePrices:
